THE OPPORTUNITYThe Global Operation Support Team is responsible for providing technical support to Primient's Operations, and delivers a portfolio of projects to support the Company goals, focusing on cost optimization, operational improvements and development/implementation of new technologies.
The candidate will be a self-starter, a team player, and capable of productively interacting with a diverse group, ranging from technicians to plant managers to stakeholders.
The candidate will manage a portfolio of projects to support and develop high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
Key
Responsibilities:
Area Manager Being a leader in all aspect of EHSManage a portfolio of Operational Efficiency Improvement Projects.
This includes overseeing ongoing projects, developing and prioritizing the portfolio, and implementation of projects in the manufacturing plants.
Manage a team of process engineers and technicians who are leading process improvements projects, including:
Setup, design, and execution of experiments at bench and pilot scaleEvaluation and interpretation of experimental resultsProvide preliminary economic analysis/assessment of current and future candidate process concepts and technologies.
Communicate frequently with key stakeholders to meet project goals and deadlinesEnsure a training program is in place for technicians and other members of project teams on equipment use, data collection, and data analysisCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective technical transfer from the pilot plant to production environments, including documentation of new/updated key process indicators (KPIs)Analyze opportunities as well as guide and plan actions around process improvement ideasProvide process engineering support for manufacturing operationsWillingness to travel as required (generally ABOUT YOU You will combine technical expertise, strong planning and management skills, and a talent for motivating and developing colleagues.

in Chemical Engineering or equivalent work experience5-10 years of industrial experience, preferably within the food or other GMP environment.
Proven experience of being capable to lead and engage a team and work with diverse stakeholders.
Practical hands-on expertise with equipmentExperience in process development, experimental design, statistical analysis, process optimization, and scale-upWorking knowledge of various manufacturing processes and unit operations including centrifugation, evaporation, filtration, ion exchange, chromatography/SSMB and enzyme reactors.
Excellent computer skills:
Word, Excel, SAP, Outlook, OSI PIA customer-focused approach and excellent communication and organizational skills.
The ability to build good relationships across different functions.

Salary:
$53 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
