Staff Physical Therapist

Basic Functions:

The primary objective of the Physical Therapist is to provide excellent patient care by providing examinations, evaluations, therapy diagnosis, interventions, and prognosis in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The Physical Therapist s role emphasizes managing daily clinical caseload efficiently including effective treatment, and appropriate documentation and billing practices.

Memorial is a great place for energetic and motivated PTs as they are looked to as experts in their field and relied on to make quick assessments and decisions when working directly with patients. Requirements for this position include:

  • Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy.
  • Illinois eligible or licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Basic knowledge in physical therapy practices in accordance with the P. T. Practice Act.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Universal Precautions Category I.
  • Must possess valid Illinois driver s license and must be deemed as an acceptable driver in accordance with the MHS Fleet Safety Policy (five year MVR will be required). Must show proof of automobile insurance.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
